| Course Outline: | “All I ever do is deal with problems around here!” Solving problems and making decisions make up a significant part of a manager’s day. However, as managers, we tend to solve problems by using the same approach every time. Every problem is a chance to learn something new and to examine an issue in a different way. Managers need to have a tool kit of creative techniques that they can use in solving problems and making decisions. This workshop will teach you how to use different creative tools for working through the stages of the problem-solving cycle. The problem-solving cycle has six steps: identify the problem, collect data, analyze causes, generate solutions, implement solutions, and assess results. In this workshop, you will learn 20 different qualitative and quantitative problem-solving techniques that will help you make the right business decisions. You will learn a systematic approach to problem solving and decision-making, which will give you the confidence to tackle any problem, any time. |
